The Monster collection from Married to the Sea is inspired by the feeling every surfer knows. Sitting in the lineup watching something huge rise from the horizon and realising the ocean can still completely humble you. Built around an original in-house design featuring a giant sea monster emerging from beneath the waves, the artwork captures the fear, excitement and respect that comes with spending time in powerful water.
Blending darker ocean-inspired graphics with classic surf culture, the Monster design reflects the unpredictable side of life around the sea. Influenced by heavy swell, deep water and the imagination that comes alive when staring into the ocean, the collection combines bold artwork with relaxed coastal styling designed for surfers and sea lovers alike.
Featuring graphic tees, heavyweight hoodies and oversized coastal layers, the collection focuses on comfort, durability and everyday wear around Newquay and St Ives. Like all Married to the Sea originals, garments are printed in Cornwall using soft water-based inks that breathe naturally into the fabric while staying softer on you and kinder to the sea too. Organic cotton and responsibly sourced materials are also used across selected garments, helping create slower-fashion surfwear built to last.
