Inspired by the raw energy of the Atlantic swells, this design captures a moment of playful danger from an unexpected perspective. The overhead vantage point creates a striking composition: the surfer and board cutting a line across the water while the shark’s shadowy form arcs below, forming a dynamic visual tension.

The illustration leans into bold, simplified shapes and clean linework reminiscent of vintage surf graphics and coastal poster art. 

Each shirt is screen printed in Cornwall, tying the design directly to the UK’s surf capital and its rugged coastline. The print uses durable water based inks and traditional screen-printing techniques.

It’s a design about the relationship surfers have with the ocean: beauty, risk, and the quiet understanding that out there, you’re never entirely alone.
